While the variety of items is fantastic, and that really is the main criteria here, there are a couple caveats which keep it from my top slot: The prices may not be fantastic

The only absolute certainties in this world are death, taxes, and your favorite franchises being adapted for pinball

I like the flavor here: The more they attack, the more they wind down (lose counters), so you need to pay mana to wind them back up

Its almost guaranteed to remove an opposing creature
