For three mana you can call in another Knight (also with vigilance, notably), and for one mana you can tap some of your other Knights to remove a threat on the board

Tapping down and stunning an opposing blocker is a big deal, especially in an Azorius Tempo deck

A blood-soaked, vampire-themed powerhouse that leverages Edgars ability to turn every spell into a threat

Its one of the most powerful of the limited options for ramp in White, as it allows you to catch up to your opponents who might be running colors more attuned with putting out lots of lands
