A Mana Leak with controller paying 2 would have been better than this card, even if that card would have also been a crippled Mana Leak

It can be even weaker against decks whose primary axis of advantage is explosive card draw, such as Enchantress or Ninjas

It will start very strongly, players will then dedicate a couple of cards in the deck to counter it, it will therefore disappear from the tournaments only to go back to the top spots as long as the counter cards stop seeing play

The more expensive ones are restricted to casual play while more efficient ones work better in stronger decks
