'Half penny' on (6d) emerald green, type 2 surcharge, block of 20 (4x5), SG9. A fine mint block with original gum (hinge traces on top row, otherwise mostly unmounted mint). Couple of trivial tones and one stamp with a natural pinhole, but lovely fresh appearance. A rare and impressive multiple of this stamp, prepared for use but not issued.
