Generally, youll have inked high-cost cards or ones that dont make sense during the early game
Newer players cant really get into Legacy and Vintage formats because they cant afford to get most of the cards on the reserved list
The Ward effect will make it so that you get to attack your opponent with it at least once in most cases, and if youre attacking with a 5/5 flyer theres a good chance that you will either draw a card or force them chump, either way youre getting at least a 2-for-1 out of the exchange, and thats kind of the best case for your opponent, because if you start drawing cards off of this, its just over
However, its still one of the best Green creatures in MTG, because it allows you to play cards again
Now, this clocks in at nine because there weren't many expensive reprints, nor where there any major cards from old forgotten times, and there were some on-theme cards that weren't here either when they would have made the deck a lot stronger
