Japanese cards can only be played in official tournaments if the same card exists in English
For example, a graded 3 translates to VG (very good) with most companies, but keep in mind that there is no universal scale or standard, and different grading companies apply slightly different standards even when using the same language
This makes 1 prize decks just as vulnerable as GX, Tag Team, and VMAX decks
There have been a few bombs in the Commander decks of the last two years, and for each one, I bought the one deck I thought had the best card ( True-Name Nemesis and Wurmcoil Engine )
