but there are a plethora of other sheen that people ascribe to obsidian in order to make them distinctive

These are untreated quartz crystals

while others have fewer but distinct flowers

to enhance a collection or just look awesome

As is typical of bloodstone in that respect. Some of the stones may not have any red and some may have large areas of red. The background green is much more variegated and complex than bloodstone Jasper. They are sorted but a few stones may be outside the size specification.
