I can't get on board with this card

The only downside I see is that it doesn't do anything on its own, which means that, in addition to a big target on its back, even in the perfect conditions opponents-wise, we might end up not casting it because our other cards aren't good enough in that spot

A combination of obscene rarity, stellar artwork, usefulness on the tabletop, and a connection to one of MTGs most famous cards have coalesced to drive its price way up

It looks like Desolation Twin will sit in the shadow of better ten-drop, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, forever

Thats some good value already, but a lot of the other notable cards are Commander staples like Skullclamp, Nature's Lore, Professional Face-Breaker, and Lightning Greaves
