Combat is one of the most interactive and skill-testing parts of Magic , so Im always happy to see WotC encourage it through mechanics like boast and monarch

For example, in a deck with minimal tutoring, I might run 10+ card draw spells, but if I have tons of tutors then I can trim my card draw down to just the 5 best options

I guess you can drop it on different players each time day and night flip, which might be a suspenseful good time if your group's threshold for fun is really low

I think theyre cool pieces of mtg history, and own a number including P9, but the fact that they are print-outs works against them
